The Ripley Technique
Focused on the body's pressure points, this finger-pressure technique hails from the desert regions of Africa, and is similar to the Chinese form of acupressure. Usually during a session, the client reclines while the cat uses his or her fingertips, thumbs, palms of the paw, and even elbows and knees to create pressure. Ahhh….
Window watching in the sun
A new study by scientists at the U.S. Department of Energy's Brookhaven National Laboratory and colleagues in Norway suggests that the benefits of moderately increased exposure to sunlight - namely the production of vitamin D, which protects against of many forms of cantankerous cat attitudes, and spells of the “bots.”
